September 1, 2011 - Red Bank – Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla, P.C. is proud to announce that Peter S. Reinhart, Esq. has joined the firm as of counsel. Reinhart, the current Director and Specialist Professor of the Kislak Real Estate Institute at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, was previously the Senior Vice-President and General Counsel and Secretary for a New York Stock Exchange Fortune 500 real estate company for over thirty years. He negotiated and managed multiple corporate acquisitions and mergers, and handled complex litigation and employment matters, and was responsible for corporate governance and compliance, including proxy preparation. Mr. Reinhart currently teaches courses in real estate law, real estate development, lease negotiations, redevelopment, and business law at Monmouth University. A graduate of Franklin and Marshall College and an honors graduate of Rutgers Law School in Camden, Mr. Reinhart has served on the Real Estate Task Force of Governor Whitman’s Economic Master Plan Commission and has served as the president of the New Jersey Builders Association, the New Jersey Shore Builders Association and the New Jersey Chapter of Community Associations Institute. He was appointed by two governors as a member of the Council on Affordable Housing and the Site Improvement Advisory Board. Mr. Reinhart has authored articles for Housing New Jersey, Tri-State Real Estate Journal, and New Jersey Lawyer. He is rated AV® Peer Rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
