GH&C Attorneys Gain Approval For Client For Outdoor Advertising Billboards
December 2, 2011
December 2, 2011- Attorneys from the Land Use and Real Estate Development of GH&C recently obtained approvals on behalf of their clients for outdoor advertising billboards in Howell Township, NJ. The application was prepared and supported by Vincent DeSimone, Esq. of GH&C. The application had many unique requirements including meeting the conditions associated with the conditional use requirements that had 18 standards applicable to each billboard. The application was presented to the Board in various negotiation sessions with Board consultants by John Giunco, Esq., Chairman of the Land Use and Real Estate Department at GH&C. The billboard applications involved issues of constitutional importance as well as particular and unique land use issues related to the conditional use ordinance. Further, the overriding element of highway safety in the billboard advertising was essential. The application was presented with witnesses and experts designed and prepared to demonstrate compliance with all applicable standards. GH&C had previously litigated a constitutional right for outdoor advertising successfully in Howell Township.
